Here we dedicate a few lines for the electronics accessories used in a car. These are the products, which can be considered as the backbone of today’s cars. AEM, a pioneer in the research and manufacturing of electronic products for cars, has a wide range of electronic products suitable for different models of cars.

Plug & Play Engine Management System

AEM’s Plug& Play Engine Management System (EMS) is an easy plug n’ play facility capable of improving the performance of the fuel injection tuning system. This system can be programmed by the user himself and can be directly inserted into the ECU harness without the help of any external device or hardware. The software used in the EMS is very simple and compatible with all operating systems such as Windows 2000, NT, 98, 95, and ME. To add more flexibility to the user, this system has been provided with user-defined templates, which makes the tuning process under control. With this software, the user can program any combination of engine control, power adders, and auxiliary devices, and thus can maintain the fuel efficiency and ignition timing under different operating conditions. Other important features of EMS include the Fuel Table Automapping, Onboard 51kb datalogger, and 10cyl sequential fuel injection capability, etc.

Universal Engine Management System

AEM’s Universal Engine Management System has more features than the Plug & Play EMS. Universal EMS has an additional ten independent built-in peak and hold injector driver channels, direct drive ignition and dual wideband UEGO controllers. The function of peak & hold injector drivers is to utilize the low impedance injectors with a 4/1 peak & hold injector drive circuit. Direct drive is to provide a coil directly from the ECU without the help of an ignition module. Wideband UEGO controllers supply 0-5 signal for monitoring and tuning air/fuel ratio on highly modified engines.

Serial Datastream Gauge

AEM’s Serial Datastream Gauge plugs into the AEM EMS and has the capacity to read the 19 channels simultaneously. The main function of this gauge is provide reference for all outputs, such as the boost, AFR, EGT, H2O, IAT, knock, volts, RPM, vehicle speed, etc. This capacity of AEM’s serial gauge avoids the use of multiple gauges to read the individual outputs separately.

One of the main components of this intelligent gauge is the LED display. The LED display is capable of setting specific limits, warnings, display and operating ranges of the vehicles. It runs the EMS datastream and includes 12 preset channels and seven other channels that are user-selectable and custom-configurable with the help of PC interface. The serial gauge is provided with a min/max storage for every channel and records the min/max values even when the system is not in use. There is also an alarm facility which will warn the user if any of the channel value exceeds the limit. In case, multiple alarms arise simultaneously, there is a facility to prioritize the alarms, enabling you to notice them in the priority order.

The quick-connect technology is another important feature of this gauge by which you are able to install it easily without causing any damage to the circuit. In addition to these, the gauge is provided with a harness, a wiring to the EMS, a daisy-chain adapter and installation software.
