NOS Accessories
Specially made bottle brackets from NOS is an essential hold to your nitrous bottle in order to allow maximum nitrous flow through the siphon tube. Two makes are available – steel and aluminum. Steel brackets are provided with a mounting and a protective black vinyl coating whereas the aluminum brackets are available with two options, viz., the standard and the quick-release mounting. Please note that these are sold in pairs.
NOS Blow down tubes
The function of NOS blow down tubes is to direct the nitrous from the blow-off cap to outside. This tube is mounted along the side of the nitrous bottle, without touching it.
NOS Blow-off caps
These Blow-off caps are recommended by IHRA- or NHRA- sanctioned tracks. These caps are released when the pressure reaches beyond the safe limit, and it allows the nitrous to bleed off through the vent tube to outside the vehicle.
NOS Bottle heaters
The function of this bottle heater is to keep the bottle temperature at 80o and maintain 900lbs pressure allowing maximum nitrous flow. The heaters come along with the necessary switches, wiring, thermostat, etc.
NOS Bottle valves
With the specially made orifices, NOS bottle valves ensure a 249 percent more flow compared to the industrial valves, and thus offer better consistency and strength, allowing over 500 HP. There are specially designed passages to these valves to ensure maximum flow speed. Other special features are the twin gauge ports to hold the nitrous pressure gauge or other accessories, an exclusive NOS safety venting system and a standard connection.
NOS bottles
The DOT-approved nitrous bottles are characterized by an NOS/CGA-approved Hi-Flo valve and built-in siphon tube. There is an automatic blow-off venting system working along with these bottles for extra safety. In case the pressure rises beyond the safety level, the vent opens and allows the nitrous to be discharged safely.
NOS fittings
These Y fittings ease your job of plumbing your new nitrous system in your car. The Y shape allows the fluid flow from two directions into one and thus works out to be a better one to save space and money. It ensures lightweight with its aluminum built and offers two choices of anodized color – red and blue.
NOS purge valve kit
The role of this valve is to purge the nitrous at the solenoid(s) to ensure continuous nitrous injection and thus eliminate the delay caused in the nitrous injection due to vapor accumulation. The kit comes with a power shot solenoid, a filter, a push button, fittings, wiring, etc.
NOS Remote opener
To solve the problem of opening the nitrous bottle, NOS has come up with this remote bottle valve which turns the bottle on and off with the help of a switch. It is provided with safety shut off valve to avoid dangerous leak conditions.
